Synthetic materials like polyester, spandex and lycra are petroleum based and shed microplastics into the local water supply when they’re washed. In fact, a study by Australia’s University of Newcastle found plastic fibers in 94.4% of the tap water samples in the United States.
That same study found that each human unwilling consumes a credit card’s worth of plastic each week!

Just ordered another one! True to size. SO, SO SOFT. Cozy enough for sleeping, breathable enough for a bike ride, and swaggy enough for the brewery! I’d love to see more Emeraldology-branded bamboo shirts. I’d buy them all.
