Why Use Beeswax Wraps?
Single-use materials like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and Ziploc bags are wasteful and nearly impossible to recycle. On the other hand, Beeswax Wraps are made with natural materials and reusable many times over.
Using Reusable Food Wraps
Simply warm the wrap with your hands, form it over an item, and wait a few seconds while the beeswax creates a long-lasting airtight seal. This 3-pack comes with one small, one medium and one large wrap. We recommend the following uses for each size.
- Small – Save avocado, apple and lemon halves for later. Seal a small bowl or a small piece of cheese
- Medium – Wrap larger produce halves like melons and lettuces, or seal a medium portion of veggies. Cover a medium bowl or container.
- Large – Seal over a pie dish or popcorn bowl. Save half of a large squash or melon for later.
How to Wash Beeswax Wraps
There is no need to scrub or soak your beeswax wraps. Rub gently with a mild dish soap and rinse under cold water. Leave out to air dry.
