Bela is from Sammamish, Washington. She currently attends the University of Washington where she will graduate this June with a B.S. in Environmental Science. In her free time she enjoys yoga, painting, thrift shopping and live music.
CJ is from a small suburb outside of Chicago, IL. Currently, CJ is a freshman at the University of Washington, Seattle and is studying to major in either neurobiology or medical laboratory science. Some of CJ’s hobbies include lacrosse, talking walks, reading, and creating digital paintings and animations.
Nimi grew up in Birmingham in the UK until she moved to New York City to purse a career in luxury fashion. She studied Psychology at Columbia University from where she graduated in 2018. Film photography, swimming and listening to live music are some of the pastimes she enjoys!
Roya grew up in Bellevue and Woodinville, WA. She spent six years studying in France, Spain and NYC. She majored in political science with a concentration in Hispanic studies at Columbia University. She practices a plant-based diet to minimize her environmental impact. In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and painting.
Sam moved to Issaquah, WA from Minnesota with his wife in 2017 and is thoroughly enjoying the mountains and mild winters. In addition to freelance writing, he's worked in the nursery and solar industries. He spends his free time gardening, hiking, fly-fishing and playing softball - often with Australian Shepherd, Pippen, somewhere in the vicinity.
Samuel is a Seattle Eastside father and husband with a love of non-competitive sports, very high quality coffee, jazz, and exotic travel. He has visited (sometimes for work and research) over three dozen countries.
Solomon Karmel has solar panels, an electric car, and a small ranch house. His efforts at lowering his carbon footprint are weakened by constant travel for business, for family visits, and for pleasure.
Summer grew up in Bellevue, WA and currently lives in Seattle. She studied public policy, environmental science, and visual arts at Princeton University, and graduated in 2016. She practices a "zero waste" and vegan lifestyle, as a way to limit harm to the environment and animals. She enjoys running, yoga, and going to farmers markets!
